Forging Architectural Excellence Through Innovation and Craftsmanship
Principal Architect & Founder
Started sketching buildings on napkins during family dinners when I was 12. That obsession never really left - just traded napkins for better paper and a license to make it official.
Design Director & Co-Founder
Spent my early career convinced that form and function were enemies. Turns out they're just difficult roommates who need the right mediator - that's where I come in.
Look, we're not gonna pretend every project is some earth-shattering revolution. What we do is listen - really listen - then design spaces that actually work for the people using them. Shocking concept, right?
Started this firm back in 2012 because we were tired of seeing buildings that looked impressive in magazines but felt cold and impractical in real life. There's this sweet spot between stunning design and everyday functionality, and that's where we live.
We've done everything from a 900-square-foot condo that feels twice its size to a commercial complex that somehow doesn't make you wanna leave the moment you enter. Each project taught us something new, usually something our textbooks conveniently left out.
We'll tell you when your idea won't work - and why. But we'll also fight for the ones that will, even when they're unconventional.
New materials and methods are great, but only if they solve actual problems. We're not chasing trends for Instagram likes.
Being green shouldn't cost the earth. We find eco-friendly solutions that work within your budget, not fantasy scenarios.
A building should fit its neighbourhood, not scream for attention. Unless that's exactly what the project needs - then we'll make it sing.
First meeting, we mostly shut up and let you talk. You know your needs better than we ever will. Then we go back, sketch a bunch of ideas (some terrible, some promising), and come back with options that might surprise you.
Throughout the process, you'll get updates that make sense - not architect-speak that needs translation. When there's a problem, we bring solutions, not excuses. And yeah, we'll keep you in the loop about costs because nobody likes surprise budget explosions.
Our team's small enough that you'll actually know everyone's name, but experienced enough that we've dealt with pretty much every curveball Toronto's building codes can throw at us.
Not your typical corporate timeline - just the moments that mattered
Started in a cramped office above a coffee shop. The espresso fumes probably influenced our first few designs more than we'd like to admit.
Landed our first major commercial project - a boutique hotel in the Distillery District. Learned that clients who trust your vision are worth their weight in gold.
Moved to University Avenue and brought on three incredible architects who challenged our thinking daily. Best decision we made.
Completed our first LEED-certified building. Proved that sustainable design doesn't have to look like a science experiment or blow the budget.
Like everyone else, we learned to design over video calls. Surprisingly, it made us better at explaining concepts without relying on fancy jargon.
Won the Ontario Architecture Award for a mixed-use development in North York. Nice validation, but honestly, the client's happy tears meant more.
Still working from University Avenue, still obsessed with making buildings that people actually enjoy. Just with better coffee and a lot more experience.
Whether you've got detailed plans or just a napkin sketch, let's talk about what you're trying to build.
